EPAM is seeking a technically hands-on Lead or Principal Solution Architect/Technology Consultant in Dublin, ideally with a background in the Financial Services/Banking industry. In this role, you will align closely with our multi-level teams to architect and implement technical solutions for our clients. You will also help drive strategic growth, foster deep relationships with clients, advance major initiatives, bridge the gaps between business and technology, whilst ensuring alignment with long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the Solution Architecture capability in Ireland in collaboration with the Country Technical Delivery Head
  • Provide guidance on solution architecture balancing innovation, technical feasibility and sustainability
  • Partner with clients to guide technology choices and modernization strategies
  • Lead technology consulting efforts in sales, pre-sales, RFP responses and proof of concepts
  • Deliver expert consulting in architectural reviews, audits, roadmaps and technical governance
  • Develop and present technology business cases covering architecture, strategy and organizational change
  • Mentor and lead teams of Solution Architects, Technology Consultants and Engineering professionals
  • Represent EPAM at industry conferences to enhance market visibility and thought leadership
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions using platforms such as Claude, OpenAI and other LLMs
  • Advise clients on GenAI strategy, architecture, implementation and responsible AI practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as Lead/Principal Architect, Technology Consultant or CTO in large consulting environments
  • Hands-on expertise in solution architecture, software development, platform delivery and digital transformation
  • Practical experience designing and deploying Generative AI solutions using platforms such as Claude or OpenAI
  • Ability to integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions with a focus on business impact and responsible AI
  • Strong industry experience, ideally in Banking/Financial Services with knowledge of core platforms and processes
  • Experience developing Enterprise Architecture including governance, business drivers and change management
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering large-scale transformation projects
  • Ability to engage in pre-sales activities, respond to RFPs and develop proof of concepts
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and business stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Claude Architect certification (CCA-F) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Irish market and local industry trends
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI adoption practices
