Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Collibra Developer to support our Data Governance team and contribute to advancing our enterprise data governance solutions.
This position requires customizing, developing, and maintaining the Collibra platform while building integrations with other data systems to facilitate organizational data governance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Create custom workflows, interfaces, and business rules using scripting languages like Groovy and Collibra's workflow engine
- Configure the Collibra platform to meet business needs, including forms and user interfaces
- Develop integrations between Collibra and external data tools such as data lineage solutions or quality platforms
- Apply validation rules and business logic within the Collibra platform
- Maintain integrations with systems using RESTful APIs and ETL tools
- Support stable data lineage integrations for tracking data flow across various systems and sources
- Oversee the Collibra platform’s performance, stability, and technical issue resolution
- Perform platform upgrades and manage maintenance tasks
- Offer technical expertise and advice to Data Governance teams and end-users
- Collaborate with Data Governance Analysts to transform business requirements into technical solutions
- Document technical designs, workflows, and processes related to platform updates
- Assist in establishing data governance standards and ensuring adherence to policies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Collibra Data Governance platform
- Knowledge of data governance methodologies or frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or JavaScript (with emphasis on Groovy)
- Expertise in RESTful APIs and service-driven architectures
- Knowledge of relational database technologies like SQL and related concepts
- Background in data modeling, catalog tools, or data lineage solutions
- Competency in ETL tools including Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git
