Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integrations Product Owner to lead integration efforts as part of a large-scale platform modernization initiative for a global leader in the hospitality industry.

The platform supports one of the world’s largest loyalty programs, serving millions of customers worldwide. This role combines Product Ownership, Business Analysis, and Architecture expertise to manage critical integrations between legacy and modernized systems, while helping to define and implement future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee all platform integrations, ensuring efficient implementation and scalability
  • Define, refine, and manage the backlog related to integration efforts, coordinating across multiple Agile teams
  • Design API contracts and establish integration flows using YAML, working with architects as necessary
  • Create detailed user stories with technical clarity while allowing development teams flexibility in execution
  • Validate and accept user stories against predefined acceptance criteria, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to architecture and design discussions, offering integration-specific insights and challenging proposed solutions when necessary
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, both technical and business, to gather requirements and align integration strategies with overall platform goals
  • Produce essential documentation such as API contracts, sequence diagrams, and integration flows
  • Support a seamless transition between legacy and modernized systems during the integration process
  • Balance immediate deliverables with long-term platform objectives, ensuring future-readiness

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in integrations and Product Ownership
  • Proven knowledge of APIs and integration platforms with hands-on experience utilizing Apigee and MuleSoft
  • Proficiency in API design, YAML, and tools like Postman for testing integrations
  • Strong skills in Agile practices, backlog management, and familiarity with tools like Broadcom Rally or similar project management solutions
  • Ability to design and support integration flows and contracts that align with business and technical needs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to work with teams across business, technical, and architectural domains
  • Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives, and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work with new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements
  • English language proficiency at an Advanced level (C1)

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka and SQL for broader integration support
  • Experience working on modernization or transformation programs in enterprise environments
  • Domain knowledge in Travel & Hospitality or Loyalty Programs
  • Showcase of artifacts such as API contracts, sequence diagrams, or similar integration documentation
