Overview
Senior technical expert responsible for managing the SAP platform infrastructure throughout the brownfield conversion journey from ECC to S/4HANA. This role oversees all technical aspects of system readiness, conversion execution, transport governance, environment strategy, technical cutover planning, and post-go-live platform stability. This position requires a technical leader working onsite in our Fort Worth location who can navigate complex infrastructure challenges while maintaining system integrity and performance throughout the S/4HANA conversion process, with particular attention to compliance requirements in validated environments.

Responsibilities
- Direct all Basis activities across the complete landscape (sandbox, development, QA, pre-production, and production environments)
- Lead technical preparation initiatives specific to S/4HANA conversion requirements
- Ensure system landscape readiness through technical prerequisites validation and implementation
- Develop and execute transport strategy, release management protocols, and system copy procedures
- Implement and manage conversion tooling, system monitoring, and performance optimization
- Establish job scheduling frameworks, backup/recovery plans, and technical issue resolution processes
- Coordinate cross-functional technical activities with infrastructure, security, hosting, and middleware teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of comprehensive SAP Basis and technical operations experience
- Demonstrated leadership in ECC-to-S/4HANA brownfield conversion projects
- Strong background managing validated single-instance SAP landscapes
- Hands-on experience with HANA-based environments, SAP upgrade and conversion planning, transport control and management processes
- S/4HANA technical platform architecture and requirements
- HANA database administration and optimization
