Overview

We are seeking a Senior Flutter Developer with expertise in Flutter to be a founding member of our engineering team.

This pivotal role involves establishing the architectural foundation and leading the development of a groundbreaking product that transforms the residential home inspection process. As part of our team, you will develop a universal Flutter application deployed across web, mobile, tablet, and desktop environments. Responsibilities

  • Embrace and implement the Pivotal Labs framework within the development process
  • Lead the creation of a universal Flutter application focusing on scalability, performance, and security
  • Develop and manage a microservices architecture on the Google Cloud Platform
  • Craft backend services using SpringBoot framework and Java
  • Implement Redis for caching alongside ElasticSearch and Postgres for data storage
  • Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
  • Lead the engineering team focusing on Agile methodologies
  • Work closely with product management and stakeholders to define technical specifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software engineering with a portfolio showcasing successful application launches
  • Expertise in Flutter and universal application development
  • Solid experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Agile teams and implementing Agile frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to engage in pair programming practices
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of REST and event-based messaging
