Overview

EPAM is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support our clients in improving their security posture.

You will work together with various security and non-security teams to implement and improve cloud security mechanisms and controls. This role involves creating, maintaining, and updating security policies, automating security validation, and supporting various cloud security initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and assign security policy initiatives across various tenants, management groups, and subscriptions
  • Maintain and update the security policies based on requests from client
  • Develop and maintain SCP rules / KQL Queries for automation in AWS and Azure environments
  • Design and implement automation for response and ticket handling
  • Participate in the testing, scoring, and strategic implementation of CSPM and other tools

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP Clouds, including security infrastructure, services, IAM and others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

  • Experience with Lamda, Azure Functions, Python, Go, JavaScript or other scripting languages and automation technologies
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools such as Orca or Wiz
  • Familiarity with API and PowerBI
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS or GCP
