J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Independent Contractor Field Trainer to assist with conducting training for drivers operating commercial motor vehicles between 10,001 - 26,000 pounds.
Requirements
- Operate as an independent safety consulting business
- Provide services to multiple clients and maintain a non-exclusive consulting practice
- Supply their own tools, methodologies, instructional materials, and business processes necessary to deliver services
- Be responsible for all taxes, insurance, and business-related expenses
- Provide their own computer, equipment, and tools necessary to perform services
- Maintain appropriate professional liability coverage
- Class A driver training experience, including classroom and behind-the-wheel
- Experience using electronic logging devices and applications
- Proficiency using business productivity tools (MS Office suite) necessary to deliver reports, presentations, and training materials
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with client representatives at all levels
- Maintains high level of regulatory expertise
- Possess valid license and have the ability to operate the type(s) of vehicles used in the training
- Ability to comply with the Federal Driver Qualification File requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Commercial Motor Vehicle regulations
- Bi-lingual in English and French strongly preferred
