Overview

We are currently looking for a remote Lead JavaScript Software Engineer with TypeScript expertise to join our team.

The customer is an entertainment company that specializes in the dubbing and distribution of East Asian media, most notably Japanese anime.

Responsibilities

  • Write high quality and maintainable code
  • Work in close cooperation with the team, team lead, SA and the customer
  • Ensure timely development, own responsibility of your activities
  • Provide timely and clear reporting of progress

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related development experience
  • Expert knowledge of TypeScript
  • Strong experience in building multilayered applications - from architecture to implementation
  • In-depth understanding of separation of concerns and responsibilities of each layer and component
  • Solid practical experience in writing high quality and testable code (not limited to unit testing)
  • Clear understanding of cross-cutting concerns and implementation details
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Advanced JIRA experience
  • Understanding of Kanban, Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
