Overview
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. In this senior role, you will combine deep technical and strategic expertise with a strong client-facing instinct - owning a portfolio of consulting engagements while actively contributing to business growth through new client acquisition and account expansion.
This is not a purely delivery-focused role. You will be expected to open doors, build trust at the executive level, and translate client challenges into compelling consulting propositions, while ensuring the quality of the work we deliver.
Req.#995439279
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cybersecurity consulting engagements across areas such as risk management, security architecture, compliance, and incident response
- Develop and present high-quality deliverables including assessments, roadmaps, strategies, and executive reports
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, including CISOs and C-level executives
- Oversee junior consultants on project teams, ensuring quality and knowledge transfer
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals, and direct outreach
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations that position our services as the right solution to client security challenges
- Develop tailored proposals, statements of work, and presentations in collaboration with internal teams
- Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and client briefings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts, working collaboratively with sales and technical teams
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address risks to retention and expansion
- Maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities and provide regular forecasting updates
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or a closely related field
- Proven track record of delivering complex cybersecurity consulting projects independently
- Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles with responsibility for business development or revenue contribution
- Familiarity with common frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, GDPR)
- Consultative selling ability - you can listen deeply, frame problems, and articulate value without being pushy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present to both technical and executive audiences
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how cybersecurity risk translates to business impact
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities simultaneously
- Collaborative team player who can work across internal functions
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant recommendations
- A genuine enthusiasm for emerging technologies and evolving threat landscapes
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, or similar
- Experience in a specific vertical (e.g., financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure)
- Existing network of decision-maker relationships in the market

An artificial intelligence system is software that is developed with one or more techniques that can, for a given set of human-defined objectives, using algorithmic information processing, generate outputs such as content, predictions, recommendations, or decisions with varying levels of autonomy (“AI”). Tasks that humans have traditionally done by thinking and reasoning are increasingly being done by, or with the help of, AI to help create efficiencies.EPAM may use AI during the recruitment process, in connection with collecting or processing your personal data. Some (non-exhaustive) examples of tasks that EPAM may use AI for include conducting initial screening, creating transcripts of interviews, and assessing applications/CVs against defined job description criteria to make suggestions to the individuals evaluating your candidacy.Your personal data and the results of any processing are not shared with AI applications outside of EPAM infrastructure. While EPAM may use AI to help create efficiencies during the recruitment process, EPAM does not use AI to make hiring decisions, which is done by EPAM Talent Acquisition and management.
