Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Visualization Engineer with Power BI expertise to join our current team in Bangsar South. You will get to roll out technical and functional aspects of the Business Intelligence solution, developing innovative and impactful data visualizations using Power BI, driving insights and delivering actionable analytics solutions to our clients. Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and translate to technical build
- Develop the solution in Power BI according to design and best practices
- Provide the documentation of the build
- Conduct unit testing of the solution and peer review of the solution
- Support integration and user acceptance testing
- Fix defects and deploy to Production
- Support the hyper care solution for the end user and provide solution support
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of solid experience in Power BI Development & Support
- Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing technologies, including ETL tools and SQL databases
- Strong research attitude, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear passion for Business Intelligence and Analytics
- Team player with the ability to work in a development team and mentor resources
- Experience working with international clients or counterparts
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
- A proven track record in Business Intelligence and Analytics project environments
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric is a plus and familiarity with cloud technologies is beneficial
