We are seeking an exceptional Principal Data Solution Architect to lead strategic initiatives and drive innovation at the highest level within our organization.
In this influential role, you will be tasked with defining, building, and overseeing top-tier data architectures that align with long-term business vision. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver advanced, scalable solutions in a complex, fast-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise-grade data pipeline architectures for global scalability
- Lead the design and deployment of advanced real-time streaming platforms for mission-critical data ingest
- Architect and optimize multi-petabyte data lakes with a focus on high-performance retrieval and long-term storage
- Oversee the creation and automation of complex ETL and ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory
- Integrate distributed data processing frameworks and advanced analytics with Azure Databricks and PySpark
- Design and govern end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategies with Azure IaaS and PaaS models
- Establish enterprise-wide networking strategies and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps
- Develop scalable data strategies for telemetry monitoring and advanced log analytics across diverse systems
- Drive innovation in time-series analytics and operational insights using Azure Data Explorer and KQL
- Execute comprehensive data governance, security protocols, and compliance frameworks with Azure Purview
- Translate complex business requirements into visionary technical strategies utilizing Azure technologies
- Cultivate collaboration and alignment across executive stakeholders while mentoring senior teams
- Architect Agile and DevOps workflows to accelerate innovation and organizational resilience
Requirements
- 16+ years of experience in Data Solution Architecture
- A minimum of 8 years in senior leadership positions, preferably across Agile enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience in 5+ large-scale projects
- Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams
- Advanced expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks (PySpark), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Explorer for mission-critical analytics
- Extensive knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale analytics with PySpark and Azure Databricks
- Demonstrated ability to architect and oversee the implementation of globally scalable data lakes, pipelines, and real-time solutions with ADX
- Mastery of ETL/ELT automation, integration, and orchestration processes using Azure tools
- Comprehensive proficiency in cloud infrastructure, including IaaS/PaaS governance, advanced networking, and CI/CD workflows within Azure DevOps
- Proven expertise in defining telemetry and log analytics architectures for large-scale systems with ADX
- Specialization in time-series analysis and deep operational insights using ADX and KQL
- High-level competency in establishing enterprise data security, compliance, and governance models using Azure Purview
- Ability to distill intricate business demands into high-impact technical frameworks focused on Azure and ADX solutions
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive alignment and mentor senior, cross-functional teams
- Deep familiarity with advanced Agile workflows and enterprise-grade DevOps methodologies for continuous improvement
- English language proficiency at an Advanced level (C1) or higher

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala for advanced data processing and optimization
- Experience with advanced ML/AI models and frameworks leveraging Azure Machine Learning and Databricks
