Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Consultant to join our team. The SAP FICO Consultant will be key in configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP FI & CO functionalities to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with the SAP FI & CO modules and a solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. This role involves working closely with business users and other IT teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize financial operations, and provide solutions to complex finance-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve tickets and change requests related to FI and CO modules
  • Drive SAP support projects with a focus on timely and effective issue resolution
  • Lead and mentor small teams to achieve project milestones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with modules like SD, MM, and PP
  • Troubleshoot and analyze SAP FI and CO-related issues to provide prompt resolutions
  • Provide training to end-users and address functional queries related to SAP FI and CO
  • Prepare detailed specifications for enhancements and modifications within SAP FI and CO
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and support procedures
  • Conduct system testing and assist with user acceptance testing for new functionalities
  • Coordinate with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Stay current with SAP developments and propose system/process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FI and CO modules
  • Experience in leading small teams (1+ years)
  • Strong background in SAP support projects
  • Competency in FI and CO processes, including financial accounting and controlling principles
  • Showcase of hands-on experience with SAP ECC
  • Proficiency in SAP customization and system enhancements
  • Knowledge of integration with SAP SD, MM, and PP modules
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
