Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Controls Specialist to join our team and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.


This role involves designing and implementing control frameworks, partnering with teams to improve reporting accuracy, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design control frameworks for regulatory reporting
  • Implement key controls and metrics to detect anomalies
  • Develop KPIs, KRIs, and monitoring dashboards
  • Perform regular control testing and effectiveness assessments
  • Maintain comprehensive control documentation and RCSA
  • Oversee data quality controls and reconciliation processes
  • Partner with first-line teams to embed controls
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with MiFID II, EMIR, Asia and CFTC, SEC, CAD requirements
  • Work from office 5 days a week

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in business analysis
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, Asia and CFTC, SEC, CAD
  • Background in regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with Kaizen and DROIT implementation

Nice to have

  • Certification in relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of control testing and effectiveness assessments
  • Capability to develop monitoring dashboards
