We are seeking a Senior Data Architect / Principal Engineer to shape scalable data platforms that enable reliable, high-impact business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver scalable data solutions such as datamarts, ingestion pipelines, and ETL processes to support business and operational demands
  • Design and build efficient data models that uphold data quality, integrity, and strong analytics performance
  • Develop and tune SQL queries (Databricks SQL preferred), Spark jobs, and Python (PySpark) code, using Airflow for orchestration
  • Integrate varied data sources using mechanisms like REST APIs and design models that improve data accessibility and analysis
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align data solutions to organizational needs, working in agile sprints and addressing ad-hoc requests
  • Produce clear, complete documentation to support effective use of organizational data assets
  • Share expertise and best practices to strengthen team learning and development

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering focused on designing and tuning scalable data solutions
  • Expert-level skills in SQL (Databricks SQL preferred), Spark, and Python, including PySpark and Airflow usage
  • Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and integrating data through REST APIs
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services and big data technologies, including relational databases and columnar storage systems like Redshift
  • Deep understanding of advanced data modeling and integration approaches that enable high-performance analytics
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Flexibility to evaluate, adopt, and implement new technologies as business needs change
  • Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)
