Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accessibility Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will help shape the accessibility strategy for our products and ensure inclusive experiences for all users. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of accessibility testers, offering guidance, support, and oversight to foster high-quality testing and professional growth
  • Conduct and supervise accessibility testing and audits on assigned products, ensuring all WCAG violations are identified, reported, and addressed
  • Organize and facilitate testing and audit kick-off meetings, clearly outlining objectives, timelines, and expectations to stakeholders and team members
  • Demonstrate advanced testing skills and ensure the team consistently meets productivity and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Design, Product Management, and Product Engineering to support accessibility testing throughout the product lifecycle
  • Work with the Testing Lead and other leaders to ensure timely, accurate, and aligned completion of all testing requests
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of process documentation in partnership with subject matter experts
  • Propose process improvements, provide feedback on testing tools and processes, and drive the implementation of enhancements across the team
  • Ensure adherence to accessibility policies and guidelines
  • Stay current with evolving accessibility standards and industry trends, sharing insights and knowledge with the team
  • Communicate testing results, audit findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information science, information design, computer science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in software or web testing, or a related discipline
  • Experience in accessibility testing, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or mentoring capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.2 guidelines and their application in digital products
  • Expert-level proficiency with assistive technologies and accessibility software, including JAWS, NVDA, and automated testing tools
  • Proven ability to facilitate testing efforts across multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated experience in creating test plans and scripts, and leading teams in their execution
  • Ability to influence, define, and improve testing processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting results to high-level stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions, and drive consensus
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar platforms for bug logging and tracking
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration and accessibility review
  • Background in UX Design to support accessible user experiences
