Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, develop and implement cloud-native service architecture.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with implementation teams, offer expert technical guidance and prioritize cloud deployment areas.
Responsibilities
- Advise teammates and customers regarding optimal cloud-native solution implementation
- Define cloud delivery processes and specify DevOps and testing team requirements
- Supervise Azure Cloud security solutions and recommend optimizations
- Track Azure resource usage and cost, apply necessary optimizations
- Integrate third-party applications such as payment gateways, email and SMS service providers
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure services including Web Apps, Function Apps, Application Insights, Azure Monitor
- Familiarity with messaging services such as Service Bus, Event Hubs or Storage Queue
- Experience with Key Vault
- Databases such as Azure SQL Database, CosmosDB or Storage Tables
- Knowledge of Blob Storage for scalable object storage solutions
- Understanding of Azure Active Directory for identity and access management
- Background in implementing solutions using Azure Functions or containerization
- Strong understanding of security best practices including AAD, RBAC, Key Vaults and VNet integration
- Expertise in monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus or ELK stack
- Proficiency in developing or maintaining cloud-native applications
Nice to have
- Experience with advanced Azure services and solutions
- Familiarity with API Management and Azure Active Directory B2C
- Background in AKS, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Traffic Manager and Azure CDN
- Skills in IoT Hub, Graph API or Office 365 Development
- Expertise in data and analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake and HD Insights
- Understanding of Azure Cognitive Services
- Familiarity with K8s or Docker for container orchestration
- Capability to write infrastructure as code using ARM Templates, BICEP, Terraform or similar tools
