Probably one of the most senior bunches of people in the company - on average, each one of our Engineers has over 7 years of experience!
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality solutions. As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive manual and automated test coverage across our products. Your role will be critical in maintaining system reliability, performance, and seamless user experiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with Product Managers and engineers early in discovery and development to identify risks, edge cases, and gaps before implementation
- Drive test strategy by defining methodologies, quality criteria, and risk-based coverage aligned with User Stories and business goals
- Own end-to-end test planning, from scope definition to execution, ensuring consistent and reliable validation of features
- Drive test automation with a focus on business impact and cost-efficiency, ensuring balanced coverage across the test pyramid and repeatable patterns
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and communicate defects with clear, reproducible reports aligned with team standards
- Leverage data analysis (e.g., SQL) to investigate issues, validate assumptions, and support quality decisions
- Close the loop between production signals (crash analytics, non-fatals, user-impact metrics) and pre-release test design, contributing to incident postmortems
- Act as a quality advocate within Agile teams, influencing processes to improve speed, predictability, and outcomes
- Contribute to and elevate QA practices across the team, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Your Experience
Must have:
- 5+ years in software quality assurance
- Experience as a QA engineer working with backend technologies such as APIs, DBs (including SQL knowledge) and services
- Experience with mobile platforms and ecosystems, iOS and Android
- Experience in test automation
- Being proactive in gathering non-functional requirements within the team and other departments
- Excellent understanding of testing methodology in Agile product lifecycle
- Positive thinking, quality orientation, reliability, ability to organize, exceptional attention to details
- Good English level – both spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Cross-browser, including mobile browsers and especially Facebook browser, testing with focus on page loading speed (First contentful paint, First Input Delay, server response time)
- Experience in load testing
- Understanding of A/B experimentation and its implication on testing strategy
