Overview

As a Data Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading data platform implementation projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. You will work closely with clients, account management and stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data platform implementation projects from pre-sales to completion
  • Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and define project scope
  • Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans and budgets
  • Monitor project progress against defind KPIs and metrics
  • Manage project's issues or risks
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in data management and delivery
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement scalable data solutions
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in lead roles such as Delivery Manager or Project Manager
  • Strong knowledge of data platforms, data warehousing, and data lakes
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Professional managerial certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, SAFe
  • Strong experience in the Fixed-fee contract typed projects
  • Technical certifications: Databricks, CDMP, etc.
  • Strong technical background in the area of data engineering, modeling or architecture is a plus
  • Deep expertise in one of the business areas applications of the Data Platforms (OSDU, CDP, IDP, etc.)
