Overview

We are searching for an accomplished Director, SAP MDG Solution Architecture, to oversee transformative programs that deliver enterprise data strategies and align technology with core business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own Target Architecture Blueprint, Data Model Design, Process Modeling and Integration Strategy deliverables to align with the MDM roadmap
  • Define component architecture for intake UX, MDG solutions and data distribution systems to facilitate scalable implementation
  • Oversee proofs of concept for AI enrichment, performance improvement and user experience enhancements, and recommend MVP scope and success metrics
  • Collaborate with security, integration and migration teams to create cohesive designs and operational readiness strategies
  • Provide design authority in change control boards, ensuring build processes adhere to enterprise governance principles
  • Mentor solution teams to drive improvement across tooling and operational mechanisms
  • Document solution decisions, interface contracts and non-functional requirements within enterprise standards for traceability
  • Maintain architectural runbooks, reusable templates and reference models to enable future rollouts and ensure knowledge continuity
  • Present solution designs to architecture review boards and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Establish KPI frameworks for master data adoption to track results and drive improvements
  • Shape target-state architectures incorporating SAP MDG, SAP BTP and ERPs to align with data governance principles

Requirements

  • 14+ years of experience in SAP architecture with 9+ years specializing in MDG/MDM solutions for Fortune 500 regulated environments
  • Background in regulated sectors such as Pharma or Life Sciences with expertise in global template design and cross-functional data stewardship
  • Knowledge of SAP MDG 2021+ with capabilities in data model extensibility, BRF+ and rule-based workflows
  • Expertise in SAP BTP technologies including SAP Workflow Management, SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Business Application Studio
  • Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite and S/4HANA integration patterns to ensure resilient data distribution across environments
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools such as SAP EA, BPMN/SAP Signavio and Solution Manager for governance and knowledge management
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders, mitigate risks and lead multi-disciplinary teams through transformations
  • Advanced proficiency in English at C1+ level
