Overview

We are seeking a skilled Middle Automation Tester to join our remote team, working on a well-loaded microservice styled project in the telecommunication domain. Our customer is the world’s largest international TV and broadband company, and as an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of their products through automated testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, design, develop, and execute automated tests for software products
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and other testing tools
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with automated tests and work with developers to resolve them
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by conducting thorough testing and identifying defects
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular status updates on testing progress
  • Contribute to the improvement of the testing process and the development of testing tools and frameworks

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Automated Testing in Java, demonstrating your proficiency in designing, developing, and executing automated tests
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and experience with Selenium, Amazon Web Services, and REST Assured
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Object-oriented Programming, Design patterns, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Jira or other project management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively
  • Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
