We are building a platform that helps businesses manage and optimize their digital marketing and traffic operations. We are looking for a motivated Manual QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our platform. As part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our product through various types of testing, from feature-level validation to end-to-end scenarios. You will also maintain clear and structured testing documentation to keep the team aligned.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing across UI, API, and end-to-end flows.
- Independently define testing scope, including edge cases and high-risk areas.
- Participate in grooming sessions, clarify requirements, and challenge inconsistencies.
- Own test coverage: create and maintain test cases, checklists, and testing approach.
- Write clear bug reports with proper investigation and context.
- Conduct API testing using Postman.
- Work with databases for data validation and debugging.
- Proactively identify gaps and risks, not just follow predefined tests.
- Work closely with developers to investigate and verify fixes.
- Take ownership of product quality and contribute to QA processes.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years of experience in manual QA.
- Strong understanding of testing principles and ability to independently define test scope.
- Solid experience with API testing (Postman) and understanding of service-based architecture.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL (data validation, basic queries).
- Experience in test planning, coverage, and estimation.
- Ability to write clear test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to challenge requirements.
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently.
- Experience working with task tracking tools (Jira).
