Alpha Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to support current and prospective customers in solving problems using their products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in product lines, experience in polymer rheology, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science and engineering
- Master's degree or PhD in polymer science, polymer engineering, rubber technology, or polymer rheology
- 2 years' experience in polymer rheology
- 2 years' hands-on experience operating rheometers
- Fluency in English and Japanese
- Strong structured problem-solving experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and papers
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
