We are seeking a Course Developer to support the revision and enhancement of existing courses within the broader fields of public policy and administration. The successful candidate will review and revise course outlines and supporting materials to ensure they remain academically rigorous, professionally grounded, and reflective of the realities, structures, and evolving policies of the Canadian public sector.
Requirements
- Hold a Master’s degree or higher, ideally a PhD, in a field directly connected to the Canadian public sector, such as Public Administration, Public Policy and Governance, Political Science, or Economics.
- Bring professional and research experience within Canada’s public sector, ideally including work with federal, provincial, or municipal governments in areas such as economic policy, public management, or intergovernmental relations.
- Have contributed research, analysis, or scholarship in Canadian public administration or related policy fields, including peer-reviewed publications within the last five years.
- Have demonstrated success in course design or instruction within post-secondary environments and can integrate applied or academic research into curriculum development.
- Be an articulate communicator with exceptional written and editorial ability.
- Have strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills to manage deliverables, milestones, and feedback loops.
- Be highly competent with educational technologies, online learning management systems, and digital authoring tools, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
