Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Automation Tester to join our team in the role of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). The ideal candidate will focus on automated testing for API integrations, manage and prioritize test cases and contribute to both automated and targeted manual testing efforts across distributed microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated tests for API integration scenarios
  • Manage test cases throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality coverage
  • Prioritize test cases for smoke tests, regression tests and other testing stages
  • Orchestrate testing pipelines via DevOps and GitOps practices
  • Develop API integration tests in collaboration with developers
  • Create end-to-end integration tests and production smoke tests
  • Build and maintain load tests for system performance validation
  • Perform targeted manual testing for new development when automation is not feasible
  • Contribute to automated testing for distributed microservices
  • Work with cloud-based load testing tools to validate scalability

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing or SDET roles
  • Proficiency in C#
  • Expertise in XUnit, Moq and Faker.net
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans and Visual Studio Test Explorer
  • Knowledge of Azure Load Testing and JMeter
  • Background in automated testing for API integration and distributed microservices
  • Skills in test case management and prioritization for smoke and regression testing
  • Capability to orchestrate testing workflows through DevOps and GitOps
  • Understanding of cloud-based load testing tools and methodologies
  • Flexibility to combine automated testing with targeted manual testing tasks
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
