Overview

We are seeking a Hands-on Technical Operations Manager to oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns. The primary responsibility of this role is the technical management of production workflows, including HTML/CSS coding, CMS updates and design asset editing. While the core focus remains on production support, coordination and technical delivery, the candidate is expected to proactively integrate approved AI (Gen-AI) solutions into these processes. We are looking for an operator who can utilize Prompt Engineering to improve efficiency in content creation and technical troubleshooting, facilitating seamless collaboration between global technical teams and local brand stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and modify email templates using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Directly manage web content updates and troubleshoot layout issues within the CMS (e.g., AEM)
  • Edit and optimize digital assets (images, banners) using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ensure all campaigns are executed accurately and on time, adhering to strict industry regulations
  • Communicate technical requirements from local brand teams to global technical hubs (e.g., India)
  • Lead status calls in English to align with the global matrix organization
  • Actively utilize Gen-AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) to generate/optimize marketing copy, image assets and code snippets
  • Apply Prompt Engineering to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing Operations or Technical Project Management
  • Intermediate proficiency in HTML/CSS, with the capability to code responsive emails or fix code within a CMS
  • Skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for basic asset editing and resizing
  • Proficiency in Gen-AI for practical work (content creation, code generation or data organization)
  • Native/Fluent Japanese with exceptional business communication skills and the capability to handle complex stakeholder management with high-level professional etiquette
  • Business Proficient English with the capability to discuss technical issues (CMS, API, etc.) and lead meetings with global teams fluently

Nice to have

  • Background in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Showcase of introducing AI tools to improve productivity or workflow
  • Experience in Pharma, Finance or other highly regulated sectors
