We are supporting a consulting-driven data project for a global end client in the retail/CPG space.

The assignment focuses on building a modern Databricks-based analytics and self-service BI environment, with strong emphasis on governance, usability, and business enablement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and build SQL-based data models in Databricks

  • Implement and manage Unity Catalog (governance, lineage, access control)

  • Develop dashboards and analytics solutions within Databricks

  • Enable self-service analytics including semantic layer design

  • Implement row-level security and access control frameworks

  • Support modern use cases like NL2SQL and conversational analytics

Your Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (SQL, data modeling)

  • Proven experience with Unity Catalog or similar governance tools

  • Experience designing semantic layers (e.g., dbt or equivalent)

  • Background in BI / analytics engineering

  • Experience with data security concepts (RLS, RBAC)
