This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a strategic engineering stream within the Finance Crime Prevention domain of a large financial institution. The role supports systems responsible for fraud detection, anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity management. This is a high-impact position in a regulated environment where security, performance, and auditability are critical. The role offers architectural influence and ownership across both backend and frontend layers.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using Java and Angular
  • Build secure, high-performance backend services and REST APIs
  • Develop modern, responsive frontend applications in Angular
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and testers to deliver robust solutions
  • Implement new features and optimise existing modules
  • Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with security and code quality standards
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Fullstack Developer
  • Strong backend experience in Java and enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Solid Angular frontend experience
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architectures
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Fluent English and Swedish language skills
Nice to have
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or financial crime prevention
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging frameworks
  • Understanding of secure development practices in regulated environments
