The Demand Response Automation Lead is responsible for planning and successfully coordinating activities between Origination and Operations for a growing assets and demand response portfolio. The role supports market and product expansion across North America and serves as the primary point of contact for inbound customer needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in retail and/or wholesale energy, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working across multiple demand response markets
- Ability to create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change with momentum
- Analytical mindset, demonstrate ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills
- Experience working with ISO API, AWS, cross-platform and front-end development
- Experience in C# /.NET, SQL and/or database management
- Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships
