Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to automate and operate secure, scalable Google Cloud Platform environments with strong ownership. You will standardize infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, run CI/CD with Jenkins, and support BigQuery, GCS, and Dataproc (Spark) operations while partnering across teams to improve reliability and efficiency—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Create and maintain Terraform modules to provision and standardize environments
- Automate configuration and system tasks using Ansible
- Build, tune, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery
- Secure and manage GCP services, including IAM roles, networking settings, and access controls
- Administer BigQuery environments with focus on performance, cost optimization, and data governance
- Maintain GCS buckets by applying lifecycle policies, access control, and security best practices
- Deploy and operate data processing workloads on GCP Dataproc, including Spark jobs
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to keep platform operations reliable and scalable
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement changes that improve reliability and efficiency
- Contribute to DevOps best practices, documentation, and continuous process improvement
Requirements
- Hands-on experience of 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Solid background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including IAM and networking
- Practical skills in administering BigQuery and managing large-scale data environments
- Working knowledge of GCS bucket management, including lifecycle and security configurations
- Competency with GCP Dataproc and Spark job deployment/operations
- Strong grasp of cloud security, scalability, and reliability principles
- Proven ability to solve problems and work independently under general direction
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
