Overview

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid working mode. This role involves managing the successful delivery of technical projects while leveraging a strong technical foundation in programming and solution design. You will play a critical role in reviewing system architecture and ensuring alignment with business objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of technical projects within agreed timelines, scope and budgets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks and issues
  • Review and evaluate system architecture for compliance with technical best practices and business goals
  • Collaborate with development teams to design scalable, efficient and maintainable solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members as needed
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain project continuity
  • Proactively address potential risks and define mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate collaboration between developers, QA engineers and business stakeholders
  • Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager or a similar role in software development environments
  • Strong background in programming and software engineering with hands-on experience in Java and Spring
  • Ability to review architecture and contribute to solution design
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
