Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive .NET automated testing for API integrations across distributed microservices. You will manage and prioritize smoke and regression coverage, orchestrate pipelines via DevOps and GitOps, and blend automation with targeted manual checks when needed. Join the team and apply now.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests covering API integration scenarios
- Own test cases end-to-end, from creation through maintenance, to ensure strong coverage
- Prioritize test cases for smoke tests, regression tests, and other test phases
- Coordinate testing pipelines using DevOps and GitOps practices
- Develop API integration tests in close collaboration with developers
- Create end-to-end integration tests and production smoke tests
- Build and maintain load tests to validate performance and stability
- Execute targeted manual testing for new development when automation is not feasible
- Contribute automated testing support for distributed microservices
- Validate scalability with cloud-based load testing tools
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing or SDET roles
- Proficiency in C# for building reliable test automation
- Expertise with XUnit, Moq, and Faker.net in .NET test suites
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans and Visual Studio Test Explorer
- Working knowledge of Azure Load Testing and JMeter
- Solid background in automated testing for API integration and distributed microservices
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize test cases for smoke and regression testing
- Hands-on capability to orchestrate testing workflows using DevOps and GitOps
- Deep understanding of cloud-based load testing tools and methodologies
- Flexibility to combine automated testing with targeted manual testing when appropriate
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
