The Role

We’re hiring aPrincipal (Growth & Delivery)to join PM61’s senior leadership team. This is a builder role for someone who canopen doors, shape winning solutions, and lead deliverythat earns long-term client trust.

You’ll be accountable for both:

  1. Growth(new logos + account expansion), and
  2. Delivery outcomes(predictable execution, strong governance, measurable value).

Requirements

What You’ll Do

1) Lead Growth (New Logos + Account Expansion)

  • Own business development across a portfolio: create and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Build and deepen relationships with senior client stakeholders (Director/VP/C-level) and operate as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead discovery: clarify business outcomes, constraints, and success metrics; translate into a clear solution approach.
  • Shape and present proposals/SOWs that are outcome-driven, commercially sound, and delivery-realistic.
  • Represent PM61 in the market through networking, partnerships, referrals, and strategic positioning.

2) Lead Delivery Outcomes (Client Trust + Repeatability)

  • Establish strong client operating rhythms: governance, reporting, risk management, stakeholder communication, and escalation paths.
  • Drive execution across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time, on budget, and with clarity.
  • Ensure engagements deliver measurable business value and create momentum for renewals and expansion.
  • Improve delivery repeatability: contribute templates, playbooks, and reusable approaches that reduce risk and increase speed.

3) Build and Lead Teams (Matrix + Specialists)

  • Assemble and lead teams in a matrix/contractor-heavy environment (PMs, BAs, architects, developers, QA).
  • Coach team leads and set standards for execution quality, communication, documentation, and client experience.
  • Maintain a high-performance culture with clear accountability and strong collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years ofB2B business development / lead generationexperience in consulting, enterprise software, IT services, or systems integration.
  • Proven consultative sales capability:discovery → solution shaping → proposal/SOW → close.
  • Strong executive communication (written + verbal); confident running stakeholder meetings and presenting.
  • Delivery leadership experience across complex engagements (governance, planning, risk, reporting).
  • High ownership, independent execution, and strong collaboration with delivery and leadership.
  • Able to workPacific Time (PST)hours; remote role.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada; fluent in English.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience withDynamics 365and/orSalesforceprojects (implementation, architecture, delivery, or advisory).
  • Systems integration and enterprise architecture experience.
  • PMP (or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Experience building reusable offers, case studies, and delivery playbooks.

What Success Looks Like (First 90–180 Days)

  • Build a qualified pipeline and establish a repeatable BD cadence (targets, outreach, discovery, proposal velocity).
  • Lead or co-lead discovery and shape at least 1–2 high-quality proposals/SOWs aligned to PM61 services.
  • Establish strong delivery governance on active engagements (clear reporting, risk management, stakeholder rhythm).
  • Improve delivery repeatability via templates/playbooks and stronger handoffs between sales and delivery.
