The Engineering Operations Manager owns, governs, and continuously improves the engineering organization’s main process for change and build; the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which spans across requirement management, design, development, QA, deployment, operations and maintenance.

The role’s mission is to establish a unified way of working which supports disciplined, compliant, secure, consistent, and high-quality execution by all development teams, based on agreed best practices, shared frameworks and tools across internal engineering teams and external engineering partners. Having different approaches across teams can at the same time enable agility and efficiency so the role also involves identifying beneficial process variations.

This is a cross-functional leadership role with strong focus on process and governance where success will be based on the ability to capture the needs of the Engineering Managers responsible for executing the SDLC process in the day-to-day work as well as the needs of key process stakeholders such as the Chief Product Office, Platform and Operations.
