We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative.
Job Summary:
Pharmavise is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help in driving revenue growth within the life sciences consulting industry. As a GxP regulatory compliance consulting firm, we specialize in delivering expert consulting services, not products. The BDR will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and advancing high-value leads and opportunities in the life sciences sectors.
Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and qualify target accounts within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, CDMO, CRO, and healthcare sectors.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold outreach, and research tools.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, structured pipeline aligned with revenue goals.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and introductory calls for the BDM.
  • Maintain target account lists and contact mapping within priority organizations.
2. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct competitor analysis, client need analysis, and market research within the life sciences consulting space.
  • Identify regulatory, funding, and industry trends that create new consulting opportunities.
  • Recommend strategic targeting approaches based on emerging industry needs.
  • Monitor industry events, funding rounds, FDA activity, and M&A trends for pipeline triggers.
3. Proposal & Contract Development Support - Assist in drafting tailored responses to:
  • RFPs
  • RFIs
  • Teaming proposals
  • Capability statements
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Support preparation of NDAs/CDAs, MSAs, and pre-sales documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal SMEs to gather technical inputs for proposals.
  • Ensure proposal documents are formatted, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
4. CRM Management & Reporting (Zoho)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of:
    • Leads
    • Opportunities
    • Contact records
    • Proposal stages
    • Forecast data
  • Generate weekly pipeline reports and sales performance dashboards.
  • Track KPIs including outreach volume, meeting conversion rates, and proposal activity.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and structured data entry discipline.
5.Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
    • Recruiting team (to align talent availability with pipeline needs)
    • Delivery team (to understand current service capabilities)
    • Leadership (for strategic targeting direction)
  • Support pre-sales coordination and internal alignment before client meetings.
  • Assist in preparing briefing documents prior to discovery calls.
6.Marketing & Digital Presence Support
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, including:
    • LinkedIn posts
    • Blogs
    • Industry insights
    • Newsletters
  • Assist in tracking engagement metrics and recommending content improvements.
  • Coordinate messaging alignment between marketing and business development.
7.Capability Deck (CAP Deck) Development
  • Create and update Pharmavise capability decks.
  • Customize presentations for:
    • Direct clients
    • Subcontracting pursuits
    • Strategic partnerships
  • Ensure decks reflect current certifications, case studies, and service offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, market research, or marketing (experience in consulting or life sciences environments preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional emails, outreach messaging, and proposal content.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred) with demonstrated discipline in data entry and pipeline tracking.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable executing structured outbound prospecting campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and support strategic targeting decisions.

• Schedule: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM Philippine Time
• Contract: Independent Contractor - 12 months (renewable contract)
