Position Overview:
The Chief Strategy Officer is responsible for defining, developing, and executing the organization's long-term strategic vision. The CSO works closely with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment across business units. This role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Strategy Development
- Lead the development of short-term and long-term strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and competitive positioning strategies.
- Conduct strategic reviews and adjust plans based on market dynamics.
2. Business Planning & Execution
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and initiatives.
- Partner with business units to ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.
- Monitor progress and ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy.
3. Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Provide insights on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support decision-making through data-driven analysis and research.
4. Mergers, Acquisitions & Partnerships
- Lead or support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning.
- Identify and evaluate potential investment or expansion opportunities.
5. Performance Management & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track strategic initiatives.
- Monitor organizational performance and recommend improvements.
- Provide regular strategic updates to the CEO and Board.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership across operations, finance, marketing, IT, and other functions.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across departments for strategy execution.
- Drive organization-wide initiatives and transformation programs.
7. Innovation & Transformation
- Lead innovation initiatives and digital transformation strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
8. Stakeholder Engagement
- Present strategic plans and insights to executive leadership and the Board.
- Engage with external stakeholders, partners, and industry experts.
- Represent the organization in strategic discussions and forums.

- Lead and mentor strategy, planning, and analytics teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 12–15+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, corporate planning, or senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, financial analysis, and business operations.
