The Software Quality Engineer I is responsible for testing and validating retail and restaurant technology products, collaborating with software, firmware, systems, and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in software/system testing.
- Familiarity with software test fundamentals, Linux and/or Windows environments, scripting or programming (Python preferred; C/C++ a plus).
- Strong written communication skills, ability to create clear reproduction steps and concise reports.
- Comfort using basic lab tools, strong attention to detail, consistent, repeatable execution habits.
- Collaborative mindset, ability to work with engineering and product partners.
