Deel is seeking a Director of Data Governance to lead the evolution of our data ecosystem from fragmented silos into a unified, high-quality enterprise asset.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of data profiling tools, metadata harvesters, and modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, etc.)
- Experience with AI systems in production
- Proven ability to draft 'Decision Papers' and Charters that gain executive buy-in
- Experience knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK frameworks and data quality lifecycle management
- Exceptional ability to translate technical data risks into business impact for C-suite stakeholders
