We’re looking for a Part-Time Data Abstraction Specialist to join our team. The role involves categorizing, coding, summarizing, and interpreting patient medical records to advance patient outcomes and research. You will work remotely with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Direct abstraction experience in the LAAO and/or TVT registry through the ACC/NCDR
- Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- High standards for accuracy and attention to detail
- Technical savvy and strong desire to learn new systems and technology
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects/patient records
- Strong communication skills
- Self-organizational and time management skills
