Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative iOS Developer with expertise in AI and proficiency in Android development to join our team. This is a standalone position working directly with a California-based client, requiring excellent communication skills and flexibility for occasional evening calls (10-11 am PST).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality native mobile apps
  • Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, ensuring optimal performance and usability
  • Utilize AI tools to integrate intelligent features into mobile applications
  • Contribute to Android development using Kotlin or Java as needed
  • Implement Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and iterative development
  • Apply strong software engineering principles, including design patterns and OOP, in all development processes
  • Ensure high-quality releases through a focus on unit testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deliver applications ready for publishing on the App Store and maintain quality over time
  • Advocate best practices in mobile development across the engineering team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing native mobile apps
  • Proficiency in Swift for iOS development with a deep understanding of the iOS SDK
  • Production experience with Android development using Kotlin or Java
  • Background in implementing AI tools within mobile applications
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative software development processes
  • Expertise in software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Showcase of successfully shipped applications on the App Store
  • Competency in unit testing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • English communication skills (B2+) with the ability to interact effectively with clients and teams
