Software Support Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support our priority tech development from11:00 PM to 8:00 AM Pakistan time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide production support coverage during night hours to ensure system stability and uptime
• Monitor applications, APIs, batch jobs, and infrastructure alerts proactively.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Analyze application logs and perform database-level investigation (queries, data validation, performance checks) to identify and debug issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings for recurring problems.
• Execute hotfixes, data fixes, and emergency deployments following change management procedures.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams during critical incidents and escalations.
• Maintain clear handover documentation to ensure smooth transition to the day support team.
