Backblaze is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs that power their core product at scale. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Java development experience in an enterprise environment and a passion for building high-performance and scalable code.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java development in an enterprise environment
- Proficient in server-side Java programming; Apache Tomcat experience a plus
- Strong SQL and relational database skills
- Experience building or maintaining systems at scale: thousands of servers, millions of customers
- Some experience with agentic AI coding tools
- Cross-platform comfort (Linux/macOS/Windows)
