Lumen is looking for a Senior Network Inventory GIS Engineer to manage medium to large network GIS inventory projects, develop network inventory features, and create geospatial data. The role is responsible for supporting the construction and evolution of Lumen's GIS planning platform, translating network data into front-end map-based visualization, and creating new data pipelines for GIS data structures. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field, 4+ years of experience in GIS engineering, and strong understanding of GIS concepts and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in GIS engineering, analysis, or network inventory
- Basic Alteryx experience
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, technologies, and tools
- Experience with GIS analysis, including spatial analysis, network analysis, and data visualization
- Experience with OSP network inventory systems (3GIS, GE Smallworld, OSPI)
- Experience with CAD software
- Advanced MS Office skills
