HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. We are developing Oxide: Survival Island and are looking for a Middle/Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality and stability across all stages of development.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle manual testing of a mobile free-to-play project: testing new features and mechanics, regression testing, and acceptance testing.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating test documentation (test cases, checklists).
- Reporting and documenting found issues and preparing test reports.
- Close collaboration with the development team.
- Monitoring build stability and overall product quality.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience testing mobile games on Android and/or iOS, with understanding of full release cycle and QA processes.
- Understanding of sandbox / survival game specifics: open world, crafting & loot systems, PvP/PvE mechanics.
- Knowledge of client-server architecture and experience testing online/network gameplay.
- Practical experience with QA tools and workflows: bug tracking and test management systems (Jira, TestRail); analytics platforms (Firebase, AppMetrica, GameAnalytics); emulators (Bluestacks, Nox); CI/CD systems (GitLab, TeamCity).
- Experience with development and debugging tools: Android Studio, adb, logcat, Xcode, Unity (basic navigation, assets, component logic).
- Familiarity with network traffic analysis tools (Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark) and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with AI tools (Claude, Gemini) and knowledge of programming languages (C#, Python).
- English - B1+ level, Russian - C1 level.
Bonus:
- Passion for hardcore and survival games; hands-on experience with titles like RUST, ARK, DayZ.
- Experience in test automation for Unity-based mobile games.
- Experience with integrations (Firebase) and working with JSON files.
