adjoe is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering team and relocate to Hamburg, Germany. The team builds and operates the infrastructure behind rewarded advertising and handles high-scale systems and real-time data pipelines.
Stack & technologies: Kubernetes, Karpenter, Kafka, Druid, Airflow, Spark, Terraform, GitLab, Grafana, Prometheus, Trino, MLflow, Jupyter Hub, Elasticsearch, Fluent Bit, AWS (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda)
Requirements:
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure at scale and deploying/managing containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Strong AWS knowledge (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Experience with Kafka, stream processing and event-driven microservice architectures
Responsibilities:
- Operate Kubernetes clusters and related tooling (autoscaling, Karpenter)
- Manage Kafka clusters and data pipelines feeding ML and BI systems
- Build reliable CI/CD pipelines and migrate workloads to self-hosted/open-source solutions when appropriate
- Optimize for performance, reliability and cost-efficiency of infrastructure
