Overview
We are now looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to become part of our team.
In this position, you will help develop a modern, automated and stable cloud environment that drives essential business operations. Together with knowledgeable specialists from a wide range of fields, you will contribute to building scalable solutions and maintaining technical excellence in a lively and ever-developing work setting.
Responsibilities
- Acquire a deep understanding of how current build and deployment processes function, along with the pipelines that drive them
- Plan, develop and support infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for the modernization team, while contributing to the design of the upcoming automation architecture
- Maintain system stability and scalability through ongoing monitoring activities and routine performance improvements
- Provide assistance during platform and capability rollouts across various environments, including identifying problems and applying suitable fixes
- Work in coordination with the cybersecurity team to defend systems and ensure they remain aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and regularly update technical documentation together with engineering standards
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of practical professional experience in a related discipline
- Confident working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably built around Microsoft Azure
- Solid grasp and applied experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes, Docker/Podman and Helm
- Networking expertise with a specific emphasis on containerized environments
- Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo or GitHub Actions
- Capable programming skills in C#, Java, Python or another comparable language
- Capacity to work productively and remain adaptable in a fast-moving and continuously shifting environment
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or above
