Virtuozzo offers an exciting internship opportunity for Alumni of Constructor University Bremen. The internship involves contributing to the team’s research and development process: improving internal performance tools, researching and integrating new types of performance tests, extending the custom testing framework, and using AI-assisted/spec-driven development.

Requirements

  • Senior-level Computer Science undergraduate or graduate student, or recent alumni of Constructor University
  • Interest in Linux, performance testing, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems
  • Basic Python scripting skills; Bash is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Linux command line and system metrics
  • Familiarity with tools such as fio, iperf, sysbench, stress-ng, iostat, or vmstat is a plus, but not required
  • Basic understanding of virtualization, storage, or networking is a plus
  • Interest in AI-assisted/spec-driven development and automation workflows
  • Analytical mindset: ability to compare results, notice anomalies, document findings, and communicate clearly
  • Self-directed working style: ability to learn new tools, run experiments carefully, document results, and ask for help when needed
