AppLovin is hiring a QA Engineer for a 12-month contract in Singapore to ensure quality and reliability of a next-generation social platform focused on media delivery, real-time social interactions, and creator/content operation tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement testing strategies including manual validation and automated frameworks.
  • Validate Creator & Ops platforms and establish testing workflows and test plans.
  • Build and maintain scalable automated test suites for APIs and UIs to accelerate regression testing.
  • Perform functional, integration, and performance testing for media processing, high-concurrency content delivery, and real-time features.
  • Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and AI teams to enable rapid MVP releases while maintaining stability.
  • Improve QA infrastructure, testing tools, environments, and CI/CD integration.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of QA engineering experience, with experience testing applications and building automated test suites.
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests in Python, Java, or JavaScript and using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured), web/mobile inspection, log analysis, and database verification.
  • Product/UX mindset and ability to work in a high-velocity startup-like environment.
  • Ability to own QA lifecycle from design to release in an agile team.

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications and managing mobile release pipelines.
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
  • Knowledge of video streaming protocols, media processing pipelines, or WebSockets.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
