Overview
We aim to hire a skilled and proactive Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Biology, Chemistry, or Bioinformatics to join our collaborative team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors. Our clients include some of the largest companies in the market, specializing in Clinical Trials, Laboratory Automation, Drug Discovery, and related areas. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with both Scientists and Developers, requiring a strong foundation in both the domain and IT, offering unique growth opportunities.
Knowledge of GxP and HIPAA regulations is a plus for managing requirements in Life Science projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee business analysis activities for project streams and cross-functional stakeholder teams
- Drive collaboration with scientific experts to fully understand and translate complex business needs into actionable insights
- Define and document detailed requirements, ensuring clear scope decomposition and alignment with project objectives
- Manage and prioritize the project backlog, ensuring that business and technical priorities are clearly communicated and addressed
- Lead the technical design process by offering strategic input and ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements
- Create comprehensive project documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across all stakeholders
- Provide expert-level analysis and guidance to the Development team, ensuring seamless integration of business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Bioinformatics
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or product management
- Hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment
- Solid background in system analysis or data analysis, including the ability to investigate and structure complex information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of GxP regulations for managing requirements in Life Science projects
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and their application in healthcare-related projects
