Overview

We are looking for a Junior Node.js Developer to join our team and learn while helping us build useful software. In this role, you will work closely with experienced developers, use modern AI tools to support your work, and grow your skills step by step. We value people who are curious, like to learn, and want to become great developers.

Responsibilities

  • Help build small features and components using TypeScript and Node.js, following the team's guidelines
  • Write simple unit tests with the support of senior developers
  • Join code reviews and team discussions to learn how and why we build things
  • Fix small bugs and help improve the code little by little
  • Use AI tools (like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT) to learn faster and write better code
  • Work with senior team members, ask questions, and apply their feedback
  • Complete assigned tasks with guidance and on time
  • Write clean and easy-to-read code

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of relevant software engineering experience
  • Basic knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript (from studies, courses, bootcamps, or personal projects)
  • Understanding of basic programming logic and what a REST API is
  • Some experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL): simple read and write queries
  • Basic knowledge of Git (clone, commit, push, pull) and interest in learning CI/CD and Cloud (AWS)
  • Have used or are willing to learn AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or ChatGPT to support your work
  • A learning mindset, shown through small personal projects, courses, or studies
  • Willingness to ask questions and learn from mistakes
  • Based in CABA, GBA, or Córdoba Capital, available to attend the office one day per week
  • Elementary English (A2+) – able to read technical documentation

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Claude Code
  • Skills in GitHub Copilot
  • Experience with the OpenAI GPT family
