We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of modern payment solutions in a fast-growing FinTech environment.
About the role: Build and maintain automated test coverage across backend and API-driven systems with a strong focus on payment flows; collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and release confidence.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
- Strong experience with JavaScript or Python
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Experience in the FinTech domain (required)
- Strong expertise in backend/API testing (Postman, Swagger)
- Experience with log analysis tools such as Grafana and Kibana
- Experience with QA automation frameworks and test automation practices; solid understanding of STLC and QA methodologies
- Experience creating and maintaining test documentation
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites
- Perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing
- Execute end-to-end payment provider integration testing
- Improve QA processes, testing strategies, and documentation
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to improve product quality; triage bugs and support release testing
- Investigate and debug complex production issues
Nice to have: experience with payment systems and payment provider integrations; testing gRPC services and event-driven architectures; product mindset and ownership-driven approach.
